The Spiegel Saloon provides a fully heated and stunningly beautiful retreat in the heart of Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland. After an incredibly successful 2010 season the antique wooden ballroom makes a welcome return this year, providing a bar and restaurant for up to 500 winter wonderland revellers at a time. With chilled beat DJs, and a variety of live acts performing throughout the Christmas season, Spiegel Saloon is the perfect meeting place for the festive season.
Spiegel Tents were historically used as travelling ballrooms, theatres, bars and entertainment salons. Built of wood, mirrors, canvas, leaded glass and detailed in velvet and brocade, each had its own personality and style. Our Spiegel Saloon will highlight its ghosts of the previous century through its bill of cabaret and choral ensembles whilst also presenting a modern collection of singers, entertainers and DJs for your pleasure.
The Spiegel Saloon Bars
For those wishing to watch the passing festive crowds our external bar and seating area will keep you warm with our vats of Spiced Hot Farmhouse Cider and Gluwein (Mulled Wine). Alternatively try a Hot Toddy, Coffee or Hot Chocolate oozing with whipped cream and real chocolate pieces. Fancy something cold and thirst quenching? Then our full range bar of Lager, Stouts, Wines and Seasonal Spirits should definitely meet your requirements.
Our full heated internal bar, with its comfy sofas, bean bags and lounge seating provides a great meeting place for you and your friends. The Spiegel Saloon also offers a full drinks menu and snacks to enjoy in the bar area, with and high tables to relax on. Reserved areas and drinks/party platters are available for group bookings.
